Halogen Converters

 

The halogen converters - also called imitation burners - are interchangeable with the oil burners and vice versa.

All halogen converters include:
G4 halogen lamp holder (the socket for the halogen bulb)
290 cm (114 inches) cord with switch and DIN plug.

Converter 6 for Passenger, Ship's, Captain's Cabin, Pilot's,
Galley, Pigeon, Classic and Classic Yacht lamps.

Converter 10 for Engineer's, Old Danish and Gilleleje lamps.

If you want to connect 4 lamps to one transformer you need 3 pieces of the ES 70 10 00.

Golden light
The standard halogen bulb to be used in the G4 socket is 12V/5W.
If you instead use a 24V/20W bulb (and a 12V supply voltage) you will get a soft and golden light more similar to the light from an oil burner.

*) Extended lifetime
The lifetime of a normal 24V bulb is reduced due to the high charging voltage from the ships generator or battery charger. Therefore when using the lamps directly connected to the ships supply it is recommended to use 28V bulbs.
